Radiologic Technologist – Reserve, As Needed
Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by physicians. Performs age-specific, routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. The Radiologic Technologist may assist in other areas of Diagnostic Imaging such as MRI, CT, Mammography, stereotactic and DEXA.
Essential Functions
- Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by physicians.
- Performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Responsible for entering all orders in Order Entry.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his / her age-specific needs.
Position Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Valid Ohio Radiologic License.
- Has passed the ARRT certification exam or is eligible to take the exam. Those eligible to take the exam must pass the certification exam within six months of date of hire.
- Maintain current ARRT registry.
- Must fulfill weekend, holiday and call requirements
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
