Maintenance - Skilled – Full-time - Afternoons

 

 

Position Summary

 

  • Works under the supervision of the Facilities Operations Leader to accomplish established standards to meet or exceed customer satisfaction and performs tasks for the daily operations of the facilities. Has responsibility for completing work orders, creating preventive maintenance schedules and associated tasks, ordering supplies, overseeing outside venders and life safety functions as assigned.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Performing a variety of skilled maintenance work requiring knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
  • Helps in the provision of a safe and effect environment of care.
  • Develops and maintains a preventive maintenance programs for all critical and environment equipment.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Maintains compliances and documentation for The Joint Commission, federal, state and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement, and establish goals that are in line with organization goals.
  • Attends professional affiliations as appropriate and participate in educational conferences to update and maintain professional jobs skills.

Position Requirements

 

  • High school graduate or equivalent and trade school graduate in one of building maintenance disciplines.
  • Must be ability to understand blue prints and schematics.
  • The ability to oversee the work of outside contractors
  • On-call rotation for maintenance emergencies.
